In 2016 AFL South East commenced a competition review of the current structure of South East Football Netball League initiated from requests by the SEFNL Football Presidents to investigate the possibility for the sustainability of all clubs the current competition structure, with the main priority being divisional football.
The findings of this review were delivered late 2017. Following this, numerous meetings have been held by SEFNL Presidents regarding these findings and the future home for all SEFNL clubs. Early 2018 it became apparent that the originally findings of this report for the SEFNL clubs to merge into the MPNFNL would not occur.
All SEFNL clubs are actively reviewing their options for 2019 and beyond, and our committees have been working diligently to review all our possible options to then present at a Special General Meeting for our members to vote on the future home of the Pakenham Football Club and Pakenham Lions Netball Club.
One of the options that have been investigated is the proposal put to all SEFNL clubs from AFL Yarra Ranges.
We would now like to extend a personal invitation to all our members, life members, players, coaches and supporters so that you can hear this proposal and therefore a presentation time has been arranged for AFL Yarra Ranges to present this option to you:
Date Monday 30th April 2018
Time Arrival at 7.15pm for 7.30pm start
Venue Function Room, Toomuc Valley Reserve
Format Presentation by AFL Yarra Ranges – Aaron Bailey, RGM
Followed by Question & Answer segment
Tea, Coffee and the Bar will be opened at the end of the presentation
We strongly urge you to attend to hear first hand this option being proposed, and we look forward to seeing you on the night.
Should you wish to obtain any additional information for this meeting, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
